5 Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

 

These are just delightful and so perfect for any time of the year, especially when you are craving something sweet.

ALL YOU NEED:

  • 1 c dark chocolate chips, melted
  • 3/4 c peanut butter (or almond butter, cashew butter, or sunflower seed butter if paleo)
  • 15-20 Peanuts (optional)

4 EASY STEPS:

  1. Melt chocolate on a double boiler or in the microwave (1 1/2 minutes on half power, stir, then 30 second increments on half power until melted).
  2. Pour most of the melted chocolate into cupcake liners of choice in a cupcake tin. Swirl the chocolate up on the sides to form a cup by using a spoon.  Allow to set in freezer for 15 minutes.
  3. Dollop desired amount of peanut butter in the center of the cups. Cover with the reminder of melted chocolate and swirl with a spoon to obtain desired effect.
  4. Freeze for another 15 minutes. Enjoy! Keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator!
