5 Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
These are just delightful and so perfect for any time of the year, especially when you are craving something sweet.
ALL YOU NEED:
- 1 c dark chocolate chips, melted
- 3/4 c peanut butter (or almond butter, cashew butter, or sunflower seed butter if paleo)
- 15-20 Peanuts (optional)
4 EASY STEPS:
- Melt chocolate on a double boiler or in the microwave (1 1/2 minutes on half power, stir, then 30 second increments on half power until melted).
- Pour most of the melted chocolate into cupcake liners of choice in a cupcake tin. Swirl the chocolate up on the sides to form a cup by using a spoon. Allow to set in freezer for 15 minutes.
- Dollop desired amount of peanut butter in the center of the cups. Cover with the reminder of melted chocolate and swirl with a spoon to obtain desired effect.
- Freeze for another 15 minutes. Enjoy! Keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator!
